- THE SEMESTER SCHEDULE -
It is important to note that the autumn and spring school semesters are each 15 weeks long, and run continuously, without typical vacation breaks. The school will utilize normal break times (such as Thanksgiving week and Easter week) for planned outreaches, which are a required part of the curriculum.

Students should plan on arriving at the campus within three days before classes begin. Any students arriving earlier than that must get permission and will be required to help set things up for the semester. Students should schedule their return flights home by the Monday after the last day of school. The last day of class is always on a Friday. Please do not plan on leaving earlier than that because class finals are scheduled during the last two weeks. At the end of the semester we will be responsible for transporting you to the York train station. You are responsible to make and pay for your own train travels between York and the airport.

- RESPONSIBILITIES OTHER THAN CLASSES -
• M199 Practical Christian Ministry: Each will have the opportunity to serve around the Calvary    Chapel of York facility. There will be general maintenance responsibilities as well as practical    ministry opportunities.

• In addition, students are required to prepare their own meals or assist in preparing the meals for    their apartment group, and to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of their living quarters.

- SERVICES -
One evening a week throughout the semester the entire student body meets for Chapel. Students share their hearts with one another and pray in small groups or corporately. Time is given to worship and waiting upon the Lord. Students are required to attend church services at Calvary Chapel of York on Sunday mornings.

- BOOK LIBRARY -
The Book & Resources Library is located at Walmgate Bar. The Library is a place for studying, and should be considered a QUIET zone. Books in the library collection may not be removed from Walmgate Bar. The Chuck Smith 5000 series is available on both cassette and CD. CD players are available to listen to the CDs. When you borrow tapes or CDs you must complete the Sign-Out sheet in the Library and sign them off when you return them.

- TAPE LIBRARY -
You are able to check out both audio and videotapes. For further information, contact the Tape Administrator.

- COMMUNICATIONS -
All students are welcome to receive phone calls or faxes from home. We have made arrangements for each student to have access to low cost local calls. Unless there is an emergency, no student will be taken out of class to receive a phone call. Please give your family specific times to call you; York is 5 hours ahead of the US East Coast and 8 hours ahead of the US West Coast.

- PRAYER COUNSELLING -
The staff is available to assist you in any prayer needs or counselling you may require. Remember that we are here to serve you as ministers of Christ. Our goal is to see you succeed in your endeavours here at this college, in order to know Christ more fully. We understand that spiritual warfare is a major obstacle to students while in York and while in Bible College; that is why we are available to your for prayer day or night.
