Music Ministry
To worship God is the greatest privilege there is. God is looking for sincere worshippers who will worship Him with their whole hearts. As Jesus said in the Gospel of John chapter 4 verse 24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.
At Calvary Chapel our focus is to worship the Lord in sincerity and in truth, not just in the singing of songs but with our whole being. True worship is an outflow of our love to our Creator in response to His love for us. The Bible tells us that we love Him because He first loved us. To fully worship God is to fully give our lives to Him.
There is more to worship than just singing along with some hymns and choruses as the musicians play, it’s about completely surrendering our lives unto God. Perhaps the greatest worship service ever held was in the garden of Gethsemane when Jesus said; “Nevertheless, not my will, but Thy will be done”.
May our supreme desire be to know God and to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our strength…this is true worship. This is our desire here at Calvary Chapel as we seek to worship Him.
