Student Ministries

This is an official welcome to university and college students attending our fellowship. If you have chosen to settle in our church for your time at uni or you are still undecided, we would love to meet you and get to know you.

We would like to introduce ourselves: we are Richard and Anna Tamburro and we oversee the student ministry at Calvary Chapel York. We have two crazy boys and a baby on the way! You have probably seen our boys charging about the church after service! Richard is a teacher at the bible college at Calvary Chapel York and also a masters student this year at the uni and Anna is a housewife/slave to children!
We met here in York at the church in 2000 while we were students at the uni and St. John’s and have been married since 2001. We love the church and our family and all that God has done over the past 9 years and praise Him for being able to serve Him in the church.

If you would like some one to one discipleship I would like to invite you to join the GROUNDED team. GROUNDED was set up at the end of last term and has not yet got into the swing of things yet, but it’s basically a time that you can meet with a member of the church to pray, study the Bible, talk and generally have some accountability and build up a one to one relationship with. If you are interested in getting involved with this please let us know and we will meet with you to connect you to a member of the church – obviously it’s girls with girls and guys with guys!

Future student events:

Monday 7th December – Joint Bible College and uni student social evening at church from 7.30pm to 9.30pm – including curry, games and Christmassy fun! Please let us know if you would like to come.
